Licensing Executive
InventHelp's Intromark

July 2017 to current

I work with companies interested in manufacturing or licensing inventions to add to their product line. It is crucial to be able to communicate effectively with company representatives as well as inventors in order to effectively execute an agreement.

Creative Specialist and Representative
The Daily Collegian

February 2015 to May 2017

I was the creative specialist for the Daily Collegian's business division. While at work, I create both print and web advertisements for clients. To do this, I work in graphic design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. My department is also responsible for creating the front page of the newspaper which includes laying it out and creating the graphics. One of the most important factors of the Collegian is having the ability to communicate well with other staff members and staying organized so no two people are unintentionally working on the same ad. Also, my department assigns specific projects to be completed individually. I am held accountable for my assigned projects; it is crucial to have this completed before the deadline.

I communicated with staff for information about upcoming programs or projects. I updated and drafted written documents such as articles for the website, the program agenda, the staff bios and the summer agenda. Other responsibilities included creating monthly news presentations and continuously developing and posting content for the Center's social media platforms.

Design and Social Media Intern

April 2015 to February 2016

While at Braden Social Media, I attended weekly meetings to go over upcoming work and meet with some of our clients. My main responsibility was to manage clients' social media platforms such as their Facebook pages and Instagram accounts. On Facebook, I created the content and scheduled it to be posted each week. On Instagram, I had full access to the clients' Instagram accounts, posting relevant pictures and following similar accounts to gain more followers. Lastly, I helped create a logo design and worked to get others to join a client's promotional contest created by Braden Social Media.
